It’s funny how life sometimes opens doors you never expected. I began as a painter specializing in custom murals and decorative techniques.
When a rotator cuff injury in my shoulder began to impede my painting, I knew a change had to be made. A friend, who coincidentally worked for Prime Locations, suggested I look into working in real estate and while I was skeptical it would be something I would be interested in, I agreed to at least check it out.
Well, one thing led to another and the next thing I knew, I was getting my real estate license and sitting in my own office at the Prime Locations’ headquarters! It wasn’t long before I was hooked – I loved it and the rest, as they say, is history!
It felt like every single thing I had done in my life previously had led me towards this career. It was a perfect fit and I never looked back.
One of my favorite things about my job is helping my clients with redevelopment strategies, whether that be finding the perfect office suite for a growing medical practice or reinventing the image of a tired storefront into a modern, revitalized hub of commerce (as I did at College Corner in Lacey, a perfect example of looking at an existing structure, seeing the maximum potential, and bringing the vision for the potential to fruition).
I pride myself on my ability to work with landlords, tenants, developers, contractors, and business owners successfully and effectively, using my knowledge of market trends and my extensive database of clients to create value for each of them.
Outside of the office, when I’m not spending time with my family and grandchildren, I enjoy painting, traveling, and hiking.
